Well after a semster with real violins, the kids gave their first recital. We did have one other semester just using a card board violin where they get used to how to hold it, and listening to the music.

Tonight at church, Joshua and the 1st graders sang for us dressed in 50's style.

Well my kindergartner and my 1st grader, and I take Suzuki Violin.  Which means I have to learn the violin as well. I have no musical background, but I'm having lots of fun with it.

 The first recital will be in May.  I searched ebay, and got us each a violin for under $50 with shipping.

Joshua is on the 1st through 3rd grade basketball team, he is in 1st grade. He's average height for a 1st grader, and he can hang with the 3rd graders.

Grace is 5 years old now, but was 4 years old when she had her first skating competition.
